In case you missed it, I did an interview with "Downfall of Gaia" some months ago which you can check out here. For all your other needs, check out the band's website found here.

City Cop - August 2011 USA tour

I got a little lazy these days as far as posting goes, since I can't make myself listen to some new tunes simply because my room is being raped by "Cult Of Luna" for three straight days. Anyways, the good fellas from "City Cop" asked me to post their tour dates, thus keeping the blog alive.
On a bit more serious note, "City Cop" will hit the road in the first half of August throughout the Southern United States. They already have a set up plan and some dates, but they could still use some help. The dates are as follows:

August 5- South Bend, Indiana with "PESSOA"
August 6- Louisville, Kentucky
August 7- Knoxville, Tennessee
August 8- TBA, Mississippi with "Les Doux", "Shark Bait"
August 9- Tallahassee, Florida

August 11- need help (south carolina/georgia area)

August 12- Fletcher, North Carolina with "Issachar"

If you have some info or can directly help the band out, contact them via their email address:

Also be sure to check out the bands that will be playing alongside "City Cop" since I posted their page links above, some amazing stuff going on I must say.

Old Growth & 12XU - European October tour 2011

YES! These two amazing bands plan to tour over Europe this October and it is going to be pretty sweet! Julien from 12XU sent me an e-mail with an early rough plan, but since none of the dates are for certain he asked me not to post them up just yet. So for now I just want to let you all now that this is cooking up in the meantime. The important thing is that they plan to cover quite a lot of ground and if you are interested in helping them out or whatever feel free to contact Julien via the band e-mail:
weare12xu AT gmail DOT com

I'll be posting the dates once the tour plan becomes a bit solid, so stay tuned. Hurry up October!

Also definitely check those pages out, since they uploaded a new song which will be featured on their new 7''.

If by some insane chance you didn't get to hear about "Fuck, Wolves!", go back a bit and check my writeup of their split with "Chaos is..." here or the interview I did with Chris here.

On the other hand, "Sarg" is quite a new name for me. Translated from German the name means "coffin" and they consist of members from several other bands like "Radare", "Actress" and "Rollergirls", which you can check out on the following links:

Saturday's Kids Euro tour 2011

As if "Theme of Laura" wasn't exciting enough, but "Saturday's Kids" are also planning to hit the road this year. If you missed my review about their self titled 7'' release, go back here and give it a quick read.
They are planing a tour in April, more exactly somewhere starting at the middle of the month. There isn't a fixed list of dates, instead just a rough plan. Here is what Sion told me is their idea:

April 14-21 France/Germany region
April 22-31 Austria, Serbia, Slovakia, Croatia, Romania, Hungary

Pretty stretched plan, but it is definitely too early for strict dates. Either way I already sent them some contacts for shows, but more help is absolutely welcome. If you can help them out, contact them on their myspace page here.
